Washtech has gone beyond the basic concept of dish- handling and is the first to introduce wash-up systems which fully automatically load, wash, rinse and dry trays and cutlery in the same machine, and semi-automatic systems for dish and glass washing.

TURN KEY MADE-TO-MEASURE SYSTEMS

TURN-KEY MADE TO-MEASURE SYSTEMS: Washtech offers Wash-Up design adhering to specific customer requests. System design depends on the following data: space available and passageways, amount of meals per hour, type of tray transport, personnel needed etc., simultaneously considering aesthetics, economical operation, work-flow, and functionality. In the layout design stage, Washtech's experience and skill integrates in a modular fashion the components necessary to provide a complete ware-handling operation. For more complex solutions the Research and Development department investigates and resolves client specifications promptly.

AUTOMATION AND COMPONENT INTEGRATION: Sophisticated Wash-Up systems should also fit with the surroundings: tray transport conveyors which weave their way from the dining areas transporting wares to the dishwash area often coming from two different areas join together to feed different machines. This type of system foresees an almost fully automatic system where only dishes and glasses need to be loaded onto a flight dishwasher. Trays and cutlery are loaded automatically, washed, rinsed, dried, and automaticaIIy stacked and collected on trollies.

ELECTRONIC PROGRAM SELECTION: Dishwashers and Tray/Cutlery washers incorporated in these systems are provided with (A.P.R) automatic programme recognition, which depending on type and quantity of dishware electronically select the appropriate wash program. This technological feature improves performance, reduces operation costs and guarantees above-all hygiene. Fully automatic waste handling systems where waste is pulped, shredded and disposed in waste containers are also available.

HI OUTPUT~ SAFE-OPERATION AND EFFICIENT: Washtech Wash-Up systems have no limits, it all depends on the initial objectives of each project. Washtech has executed systems with 2000 tray per hour capacities. Larger systems than this can also be catered for. The systems are fully automatic, with various electronic monitoring and sensor mechanisms, which control all phases of operation, fault control, safety, and regulate conveyor speeds according to work load, etc. Machines included in the system incorporate "self- cleaning" and "sanitising" cycles which do not require manual intervention, leaving the machine interiors clean and sanitised.
